I’m Not A Girly Girl

I’ll always remember when my classmates would make fun of me for not being a girly girl. It didn’t change who I was at my core, but I wondered why I was different from most of the other girls around me.

I didn’t like things that were labeled for girls, and to this day I still don’t gravitate towards those things. I was never interested in putting make up on, getting my nails done every week, or dressing up like a princess.
